The following code made ruby crash:
require 'net/smtp'
smtp = Net::SMTP.new 'smtp.gmail.com', 587
smtp.enable_starttls
smtp.start("gmail.com", "edited", "edited", :login) do
smtp.send_message("hello world!!", "mljsimone@gmail.com", "undefined.behaviour@gmail.com")
end

I think this is the same as #6886, too.
OpenSSL bundled with OS X is no longer supported, so I'm closing this as Third Party's Issue.
