I have discovered more information--
This problem is occurring in a Rails application and if you attempt to start Sidekiq it will happen again.

I think I'm getting the same crash in gc_mark_ptr
with ruby 2.3.0p0 (2015-12-25 revision 53290) [x86_64-darwin15]
when using the pg 0.18.4 gem and activerecord 4.2.4:
