i cant repoduce it with my ruby versions 2.1.2 and ruby 2.3.0dev

ArgumentError: array size too big

imo each_slice
might be optimiced if the parameter is bigger than the total array/enum size ...

It reproduces with just:
Array.new(50000000000000000)
and
"x"*50000000000000000
The failure itself is expected, but OSX's malloc
complains.
Seems there is no hook to control it.
