In line 67 in Ruby 2.1.2 Makefile, one simply has to change `-msse2` to `-msse`... athlon_user (C. A.)

I have exactly the same issue with my Athlon XP 2600+.
The compilation process stops every time at the same point as... athlon_user (C. A.)
