Description

Hi,

UNIXSocket has this method #getpeereid() which returns effective user ID and effective group ID.

DRb using drbunix:// on local machine doesn't support that method. In my use case, I need to verify clients via that method. So it would be great if you add support to DRb.

Actually that method #getpeereid() is from BaseSocket, but documentation states that it only supports UNIX sockets. I mean, it's a general method from parent class. So you can do the same with DRb: add some similar method, but only works via drbunix:// on local machine. Otherwise you can raise error...

Thank you,
