Issue

In this system, the problem/task which should correspond in each project are called "Issue" or a "ticket." For example, they are a bug, expansion, etc.

Initial registration

If initial registration of the Issue is carried out, the next reaction will occur.

  • It appears in the unsolved issue list of the projects concerned (example).
  • The mail which reports new issue to a corresponding mailing list flows.
  • The message which reports new issue flows into a corresponding irc channel (A plan).
  • New issue registration is indicated to Atom feeding.

In addition, at the time of issue registration, you have to choose the language of a report place. A suitable report place mailing list is chosen according to this language. (It's like ruby-dev or ruby-core)

Correspondence of issue and mail

Moreover, since e-mail flows at the time of issue generation, the mail which certainly corresponds exists in issue. issue can also be specified using the number of this mail.

However, after issue is registered, by the time it specifies corresponding mail, there will be some time lag.

Note:

Unlike the normal condition of Redmine, Wiki format cannot be used by the explanatory note or comment of issue.

These texts are treated as an orthopedically operated text (pre) on the relation which cooperates with a mailing list.

Comment

If a comment is attached to Issue

  • The contents of a comment are displayed in Paige of the issue.
  • The mail which includes the contents of a comment in a corresponding mailing list flows.
  • The message which reports edit of issue flows into a corresponding irc channel (A plan).
  • Edit of issue is indicated to Atom feeding.

Closing

If Issue is closed

  • It is no longer displayed on the unsolved issue list of the projects concerned.
  • Mail of a close report flows into a corresponding mailing list.
  • The message of a close report flows into a corresponding irc channel (A plan).
  • close of issue is indicated to Atom feeding.
